Why is Biden Sticking With the Beijing Olympics After Bashing Georgia?

What can you say about an American presidential administration and corporations that so easily embrace an outcry and boycotts over one state’s clean election laws, but looks the other way when it comes to sending its athletes to perform in a nation of ruthless, torturous dictators?

“Hypocrisy” doesn’t adequately describe the evil double standard.

But that’s what we’ve seen in the state of Georgia – where the governor and legislature enacted a law that removes the likelihood of a repeat of the rampant fraud that marred the 2020 election – which motivated Major League Baseball to move its All-Star Game out of Atlanta, caused actor Will Smith to move a film production from the state, and corporate CEOs to issue statements of condemnation over the measure’s alleged “racist” motivation and effect.

Now BlackRock CEO Fink Wants to Tell Georgia How to Run Elections

Not content to throw his weight around to transform the entire energy industry, Larry Fink has now turned his attention to altering the political system.

The CEO of top finance firm BlackRock, which reportedly controls more than $9 trillion in assets, has developed a reputation for progressive agenda pressure tactics against the companies they invest in – most recognizably on the issue of climate change, but also on social issues related to race and gender. Fink likes to write open letters to CEOs and board members in which he prods and threatens their corporations to do things like “divest” from fossil fuels (even if that is their core business) and report hypothetical “risks” from the effects of global warming. Those who fail to comply can find BlackRock potentially voting against renewal of their directorships, or worse.

FEC Complaint Filed Against Rep. Maxine Waters Alleging ‘Slate Mailer’ Election Law Violations

Today, NLPC filed a Complaint with the Federal Election Commission alleging that Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) violated federal election law in a transaction related to her so-called slate mailer during her last re-election campaign.

The transaction was a payment to Waters’ campaign fund from the Democratic State Central Committee of California (DSCCC) in the amount of $35,000 for the inclusion of then-Senate candidate, and now Senator Kamala Harris, on Waters’ slate mailer. Whereas candidates like Harris may legally pay Waters’ campaign for the proportional costs of their inclusion on her slate mailer, it is not legal for such payment to be made by a third party like the DSCCC.
