Bill Gates is one of the world’s most important political figures – not because he’s a great thinker, writer, orator, or officeholder, but because he’s rich.
That’s OK. As long as they do it honestly and openly, rich people should be able to promote the causes they believe in. It’s a basic human right, one that, for Americans, is enshrined in the Bill of Rights.
Like anyone else, Gates is and should be subject to criticism when he exercises that right. But efforts to criticize Gates are complicated by the fact that his views are often unclear.

Bill Gates has made himself the face of billionaire philanthropy. With a world-spanning public relations campaign, he has created the impression that his vast wealth is being funneled into charity. Some of it is. But much of it goes to Woke causes – to the agenda of the political and cultural Left.
Often, this involves what is effectively the mixing of Gates Foundation money with government funds. When this happens, taxpayers, through government grants, contracts and tax exemptions, end up financing causes that they find wasteful or abhorrent.

Bill Gates—the self-appointed global health czar—is back at it again, laying out his grand vision for how the world should handle pandemics. In this 2015 TED Talk, The Next Outbreak? We’re Not Ready, Gates delivers a chilling warning about future global health crises, conveniently setting the stage for the very policies, surveillance, and top-down control measures that would later define the COVID-19 response.
Using the tried-and-true fear tactics perfected by the climate change alarmists, Gates insists that the real threat isn’t war, but a virus—and, of course, that only a massive global response (with him at the helm) can save us. Funny how his solutions always seem to involve big pharma, government overreach, and a whole lot of money flowing in very specific directions.
