Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner has officially abandoned any pretense of upholding the rule of law. In a move that signals a total breakdown of constitutional order, Krasner announced on January 27 a coalition of radical District Attorneys—including four from Virginia—committed to the criminal prosecution of federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
Rather than focusing on the violent crime wave paralyzing his own city, Krasner is shifting taxpayer resources to “hunt down” federal officers for the “crime” of enforcing our nation’s laws.

Since Krasner took office in 2018 with the backing of the Soros money machine, Philadelphia has become a case study in urban decay. Under his “decarceration” agenda, the city saw a historic surge in violence, peaking at a record 562 homicides in 2021. While recent data suggests a slight stabilization, the long-term impact of his tenure has been a city defined by open-air drug markets, rampant retail theft, and a sense of lawlessness.
By refusing to prosecute “low-level” offenses and seeking the release of violent offenders, Krasner has signaled to criminals that Philadelphia is open for business. Now, he is doubling down by targeting the very people tasked with removing criminal aliens from these dangerous streets.

- Jim Hingeley (Albemarle)
- Ramin Fatehi (Norfolk)
The question for Virginia residents is simple: Do they really want to turn Virginia into Philadelphia? By joining Krasner’s crusade, these prosecutors are signaling that they prioritize leftist ideology over the safety of their constituents and the integrity of federal law.
