The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) has filed its opening appellate brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, asking the court to reverse a federal district judge’s dismissal of our lawsuit against Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett, and security contractors. The case stems from the shocking and unlawful silencing and arrest of NLPC Chairman Peter Flaherty while he was lawfully presenting a shareholder proposal at Berkshire’s 2023 annual meeting.
