More Reid Hoffman Accountability Avoidance: ‘Martyr’ Comment Just an ‘Echo’

LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman (pictured above) is still trying to clean up his mess from a few weeks ago, when he openly admitted to his fellow jet-setting, carbon-spewing billionaires at an exclusive Idaho retreat that he wished he made the previous President of the United States an “actual martyr.” A couple days later President Trump survived an assassination attempt.

The Microsoft director was ratioed in a feeble, mealy-mouthed equivocating post on X a few days afterward, in which he attempted to water down his disgusting remark with “a point of clarification.” Hoffman then parted ways with his close pal and political adviser Dmitri Mehlhorn, who tried to push the idea on media that the Trump assassination looked “staged.” Now, in an interview with CNN, Hoffman made clear that the “martyr” remark he made before his elitist friends was not his fault — it was theirs:

The LinkedIn co-founder faced criticism earlier this month after the assassination attempt against Trump. Before the shooting, Hoffman reportedly had a public quarrel with fellow tech billionaire Peter Thiel. Thiel accused Hoffman of making a martyr of Trump by funding lawsuits against the former president. Hoffman told Thiel he wished he had made Trump an “actual martyr.”

“I definitely regret having echoed the word martyr, which was pitched to me from the audience, and I echoed it. That was a mistake,” Hoffman told CNN. “It’s super important that we all as leaders strongly speak against physical violence in democracies and politics and everything else. I deeply regret having echoed that word.”

Got that? Hoffman didn’t make the statement because it was something that came from his heart and brain. Instead he merely “echoed” what the audience “pitched to him.” He’s just like the Grand Canyon…or a baseball batter…or something. He just batted it back to the source from where it originated. He couldn’t possibly be…accountable.

In a letter to the Microsoft directors, NLPC — a shareholder in the company — has called for Hoffman’s resignation from the board. Should the unworthy and imbalanced tech entrepreneur refuse to leave, then we have asked his colleagues to take steps to remove him. This followed a similar request made by NLPC in October to the company, due to Hoffman’s previous unbecoming political antics and his association with the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

NLPC has also called for Hoffman’s removal from the federal government’s Defense Innovation Board. The bottom line is that he is unfit for either of these prestigious positions, and he possesses no special skills or insights that couldn’t be found elsewhere with an equally capable, less controversial figure.
