Auto Workers Treasurer in Delaware Charged with Records Fraud

On January 25, James Hunter, formerly treasurer of United Auto Workers Local 1542, was charged in U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware with one count of making a false entry in financial records of the Newark-based union. The charge follows a probe by the Labor Department's Office of Labor-Management Standards.
