Steelworkers Ex-Local President in Detroit Pleads Guilty

Steelworkers logoOn June 14, Jerrold King, former president of United Steelworkers of America Local 842, pled guilty in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan to one count of concealing records from the Detroit union. He had been charged in March. The guilty plea follows a probe by the U.S. Labor Department's Office of Labor-Management Standards.
