Letter Carriers Secretary-Treasurer in Kentucky Pleads Guilty

Letter carrierOn September 14, Richard M. Clark, former secretary-treasurer of National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 468, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky to embezzling $18,680 in funds from the Bowling Green-based local and destroying financial records. He then was sentenced to three years probation and six months home confinement, and ordered to pay full restitution, a $2,000 fine and a $125 special assessment. He had been charged this April. The guilty plea and sentencing follow an investigation by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
